Offered here is a vintage small format sheet: "The Old Rugged Cross", "Compliments of Little Brown Church W L S, Sears Roebuck & Co.", "Special Sacred Song,  by Rev. Geo. Bennard,  The Rodeheaver Company, Publisher, Chicago & Philadelphia, 1912.   Radio station WLS—for “world's largest store”—was started by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in 1924. Four years later, Sears sold it to The Prairie Farmer newspaper, which made its Barn Dance a national hit.  This sheet was a give-away in conjunction with the Little Brown Church, The Reverend Dr. John Holland, whose articles appeared in The Prairie Farmer, ministered on WLS via the Little Brown Church of the Air, which debuted back in 1925.  This is a very scarce give-away by the company.   The sheet has minor stressing - fold lines on sheet - a name on the top edge.
