You may expect some issues with these books - seem all complete and readable though. Found in an old country farm house attic/crawl space - thus light attic musty smell.
Offered here is a huge vintage Star Wars and Star Trek combination group of books and records (no comics),
Offered here is an important set of antiquarian books, The World's Best One Hundred Detective Stories, edited by Eugene Thwing [publisher: New York and London: Funk & Wagnalls Company, [1929]] First Edition Small octavo, ten volumes, original red cloth with spines gold stamped. Collects stories by Samuel Hopkins Adams, H. C. Bailey, Mrs. Belloc Lowndes, F. Britten Austin, Marjorie Bowen, Ellis Parker Butler, J. D. Beresford, Melville Davisson Post, G. K. Chesterton, Agatha Christie, George Allan England, Arthur B. Reeve, A. Conan Doyle, Vincent Starrett, Octavus Roy Cohen, R. Austin Freeman, Ernest Bramah, Sax Rohmer, Anna Katharine Green Rohlfs, Arthur J. Rees and many others, including a number of stories not easily found elsewhere. Volume ten has an author and title index. This group is in very good or better condition. The are very minor rubs at the extremities- corner bumps - a couple have slightly loose bindings, vol 9 has a couple of flattened formerly folded page corners and a stress line across the top back cover corner. There is minor dirtiness on page edges on a couple and I see random pencil scribbles on the endpages of at least one - on a quick thumb-though I find no writing inside though. This is a GREAT over-all set in good condition. Missing Vol 10!
