Offered here is a vintage magazine, "The Saturday Evening Post - April 15, 1939". A Nice Magazine, cover by Emery Clarke this has numerous wonderful full-page adds, many in color, incluidng a great International Truck add on the inside of the front cover, There is a great colored add for the New York World's Fair, A Coca Cola add on the back cover (it has a chip at the top left corner), a Campbell's soup add, Pontiac, Goodyear, Goodrich, LaSalle, a twopage color ad for Plymouth, etc etc etc. There are numerous serial stories and articles of interest including one on Stalin with photos, there is another titled "Busher Joe McCarthy" about the NY Yankee Manager with his photos. There are a couple of pages with coupons or photos cut out.

The back cover has a GREAT add for Wheaties featuring Joe Dimagio swinging the bat and scoring a run off a home run. It also has Ellsworth Vines playing tennis, Joanna De Ruscan - fencing champion, and Lenore Kight Wingard - diving champ, and an early story by Howard Fast. It also contains numerous B & W auto adds and others, plus several color adds, including auto adds in color for International trucks etc etc etc. There are also the typical articles of interest and numeorus serial stories. The front and back cover both have chips etc, large on back cover and last page.

There is an article titled, "Little Miss Miracle" by J. P. McEvoy on Shirley Temple with photos and another part of a series on Jack London with photos of him in Alaska. The back cover has a GREAT Wheaties add featuring Gabby Hartnett - it also has photos of Charles Gehringer, Lefty Gomez, Mel Ott and Louis Fette.
