Offered here is a great old book; "Gene Autry and the Golden Ladder Gang", an authorized book by W. H. Hutchinson, illustrated by Andrew Bensen. Beige cloth with Red and Green illustration and red titles on cover. Red page edges, illustrated endpages and 16 inside book. Some stain/bleed of red onto pages edges. Wonderfulpianted illustration on Dust Jacket with phto of Gene Autry as well. DJ has overall bumping etc but is still presentable, 1950 by Whitman. Book has name written on blank frontis with a name and address sticker.

Minor 'bumps' at extremities. Name and date 11-6-46 on first blank endpage. Typical pulp-like paper of Tower books, lightly tanned. Dust Jacket has painted illustration of Cowboy with six-gun blazing. Dust Jacket is chipped at top and bottom of flap folds and spine edge and heel as well as along the bottom edge.

With Illustrations from Photographs by the Author, by Zane Grey, New York Grosset & Dunlap 1920s Reprint Edition - stated second edition. Story of Buffalo Jones, a plainsman who protected and tamed the bison. Ownership signature, else near fine in a dust jacket with a few small chips and tears. Dust jacket reproduces the Frontis photograph of Buffalo Jones in front of a hide talking with another man. Dust jacket has some chips etc.
