Offered here is a vintage Big Little Book; "Jack Armstrong And The Ivory Treasure", by Leslie Daniels, Jr., illustrated by Henry E. Valley, Racine Wisconsin: Whitman, 1937, Pictorial Semi-Hardcover. Good, Adventure. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall. Big Little Book # 1435. Front cover depicts Jack Armstrong confronted by huge, tusked elephant, frightened (rightly so) lass is behind Jack, elephant head on spine panel, back cover with Jack and fair lass in midst of elephant grave site. Covers have bumps and rubs at extremities. Front hinge was taped some tiem ago with acid free tape (I think). Not distracting from book. Two names written on inside of front cover. Piece of surface paper missing at top near back cover spine area.
Offered here is a vintage Walt Disney Big Little book, "Mickey Mouse And The 7 Ghosts", by Walt Disney, Whitman Publ. Co., Racine, Wisc., 1940, pictorial semi-hard covers-with Mickey and ghosts. Edges are rubebd and extremities are bumped and rubbed. Back spine hinge has an old acid free tape repair (I think). Front right bototm corner has stressing and first 5 pages or so have a very light stain and some light folding. Two names are written on the inside of the front cover in pencil. Loaded with Mickey Mouse illustrations.
Offered here is a vintage big-little-type Shirley Temple book, "The Story of Shirley Temple", Saalfield, 1934, #1319, 4 1/4" X 4 3/4". Some bumps at corners - closed separation - bottom 1" front cover at spine.
