Offered here is a vintage antique and early, 19th century U.S. children's magazine: "Golden Hour Magazine For Boys and Girls, January 1874, What wonderful cover lithography.   These have wonderful stories for children, several with wonderful lithography.  The frontis is titled "Caught Napping" and has a sleeping little girl with her dolly and cat.    These are very, very tough to find in any condition.     Remember, they are 130 years old!!!!   This one is in great condition with some cover dirtiness.  The inside is perfect.  There are four or five wonderful lithographs that go with the children's stories.  Great stuff!!!

Offered here is a vintage antique 19th century children's magazine: "Oliver Optics Magazine - Our Boys and Girls" 1/04/1868, Vol. III No 53, Lee & Shepard, Boston, Publ..  These are very, very tough to find in any condition. Loaded with wonderful lithographed adds.  As you can see, the cover has a litho of a girl playing croquett and a boy holding a baseball bat (nice) and a scene of boys playing a game of baseball between them!!!!!  This issue was on the top of the stck and has obvious chipping on the paper cover.   Remember, it is 140 years old!!!!  The back cover is missing - there is an add for the Dotty Dimple Series and the Little Prudy series of children's books showing.

Miller, Publisher, Chicago - What wonderful cover lithography by Lauderbach.   These have wonderful stories for children, several with wonderful lithography.  The frontis is titled "The Two Friends" and has a little girl with her dog - see the scans on  a couple more.  Stories in this issue are by George Huntington, Ruth Kenyon, Mary E. C. Wyeth, Marion Dresser, Mrs. Julia P. Ballard, Mary H. Krout, Emily Huntington Miller and many more.  One by Lucia Chase Bell titled "The Dolly That Went To War", with a litho of a little girl and her doll.  These are very, very tough to find in any condition.     Remember, they are 130 years old!!!!   This one is in great condition with extremely minor stressing at the extremities.  The inside is perfect.  There are four or five wonderful lithographs that go with the children's stories.  Great stuff!!!   You will be hard pressed to find more copies of these - especially in this good condition.
