Offered here is a vintage antique 19th century two step rag large format sheet, "Della Fox March (Two-Step)", "with her photo on the cover", composed by G. H. Wilder, G. W. Setchell, Publ., Boston, 1895. A very rarely seen sheet! Della May Fox was born Oct. 13, 1870, St. Louis, Mo., U.S. and died June 15, 1913, New York, N.Y. actress and singer whose professional ability and childlike persona earned her great popularity on the late 19th-century American stage. Fox began appearing in amateur theatricals at an early age. She made her first professional appearance at age 13. For the next five years Fox sang with a succession of touring opera companies, her professional skills benefiting especially from her training in the company of Heinrich Conned. Extremely minor chipping along the spine and at the bottom edge - very light dirtiness on the cover - previous owner's name stamp at the top edge. What a GREAT cover!
