This is a nice sheet with light stressing at the corners and a couple of very small closed edge tears - some light dirtiness. What a wonderful cover by Ernest! Minor stressing at the extremities - an old store stamp with hand written street address. Offered here is a wonderful antique 19th century large format sheet: "In The Gloaming", Bromo Seltzer, Emerson Drug Company, Publisher, ca 1890's-1900. Taken from a bound volume thus minor shipping along the spine and some likely trimming (We are offering three different Bromo versions and have scanned them - the scan MAY NOT be of this actual song - however the sheets are exactly the same). The Emerson Drug Company, maker of Bromo Seltzer was formed by Capt. Isaac Emerson. He incorporated it in Maryland in 1891. He later created an edition of 171 popular songs, in several different formats, and used them as a marketing promotional item. Of course, the cover art ensured that a reminder of Bromo Seltzer was always prominent in many a home.Many of the songs in the collection were old standards such as Ben Bolt, Hail Columbia, Home Sweet Home and Listen To The Mocking Bird.

(small local publisher), Publ., Syracuse, New York, ca. 1890's. Very light stressing along the spine - four tears along the right edge - two are 1" or more (was folded - now flattened). The inside front cover and the back cover have miltiple advertisements for other Gloversville businesses including "The Fashion".
