Offered here is a retro vintage black babydoll with sleepy-eyes, Black Americana Baby doll with "sleepy-eyes", molded plastic, 9" long - crying mechanism doesn't seem to work - eyes open when she sits up, articulated limbs and head. Very cool!!!!
This is a vintage Black Americana item: an "Dixon's Carburet of Iron Stove Polish - "Brother Gardner Addresses The Lime Kiln Club on The Virtues of Dixon's Stove Polish"; B & W add on back- about 6 1/8" X 5 1/8" in size (It has two very small closed tears at the left edge). This is an AWSOME full color flyer/add featuring 14 "Characteristic" Black Men - possibly an inside box top add - where ya gonna find another one???? Very cool!!!!
Offered here is an old handmade vintage black doll: "Handmade, Black Americana stuffed cloth doll - 11" tall. Wearing a woven basket-like hat with fruit (most fruit missing). In great condition! Very cool!!!!
Offered here is a wonderful vintage handpainted J. Palley's Hambone advertising plate; "J. Palleys Hambone - Above All Five Cent Cigars Finest Quality", plate - hanging sign 1911", This is a hand painted sign although I do not find an artist's signature, Buffalo Pottery - Vitreous. Black man in air plane - very cool!! Sorry about the potter's mark - I tried my scanner and camera.
